These pages describe the optical SETI (Search for Extraterrestial Intelligence) program at Lick Observatory.

First light of the insrument was on December 27, 2000. As of January 2004, our program has observed 3,999 of our 5,039 target stars.

The optical SETI detector is a triple photometer located at the Cassegrain focus of the Nickel one-meter reflecting telescope.
